Syndie Nadeau

Syndie Nadeau #1 OH 5’11”

Russ Rose Then (2004): “Syndie has improved a great deal through the years.  I have complete confidence that Syndie is going to continue to give us her best effort.  In spite of some of the physical limitations that might exist, that is enough for me.  I especially enjoy Syndie because she brings a fresh attitude and she keeps the team loose.  I would recruit her again because she is a player that I have really enjoyed having here for four years.  I know that she is going to take her opportunity to get a degree in engineering and use it.  I like that about Syndie.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Syndie developed into a really good player. What I liked about Syndie was that even though she wasn’t real physical, she had an excellent volleyball IQ and played a very good all-around game. In 2004, she was our first-ever AVCA National Player of the Week. I said back then that I would recruit her again because I really enjoyed coaching her and I knew she was going to get her degree in engineering and use it. After college she returned to Canada and is working now for Siemens.”
