Syndie Nadeau

Syndie Nadeau #1 OH 5’11”

Russ Rose Then (2003): “Syndie has had a good couple of years here at Penn State.  She has continued to impress me with her knowledge of the game and her ability to play the game.  She is at a certain physical level and I feel she is stronger than when she came in.  She is an experienced player who is more of an auxiliary player, but she plays the game well,  She is a fabulous student and is a great team member and is always enjoyable to be around as you never know what she is going to say.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Syndie developed into a really good player. What I liked about Syndie was that even though she wasn’t real physical, she had an excellent volleyball IQ and played a very good all-around game. In 2004, she was our first-ever AVCA National Player of the Week. I said back then that I would recruit her again because I really enjoyed coaching her and I knew she was going to get her degree in engineering and use it. After college she returned to Canada and is working now for Siemens.”
