The Stats Aren’t Comparable — It’s Not Our Fault

Below is our latest edition of Stat Joust, in which we take statistics for Penn State and its upcoming opponents, and compare them, which of course is inherently unfair because they haven’t played the same opponents.  But we’re hoping you’ll overlook that (although our heading probably makes that less likely than it might have been). 

We have no great insights here — all three teams have done well, statistically speaking, and the usual suspects have done well individually.  We were a bit surprised that Minnesota hasn’t had more blocks/set — we’re hoping our Q&A with a Gophers fan will shed some light on that for us.
