Add one more to the Penn State Women’s Volleyball Class of 2019: Emily Oerther, a 5-11 S/OH/RS from First Academy High School in Orlando Florida, and Top Select Volleyball Academy.

Writing about Emily in a February 18, 2018 PrepVolleyball.com article “Players Show Their “Medal” at Orlando’s Opening Unsigned Showcase,” Sloane Green said Emily is a “positive communicator” and that she “works well with middles.”  Emily, who played OH in high school (setter for her club team) earned third-team All-Area honors from the Orlando Sentinel in 2018 for her play with her high school — First Academy in Orlando Florida.
