The Nittany Lions put up some nice numbers Saturday night: 3-0, 80, 16-0, 4-0. That translates to a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-20, 25-16) of Wisconsin (6-7, 1-3) — Penn State’s NCAA-record winning streak is now 80 consecutive matches — leaving the Nittany Lions a perfect 16-0 on the season and 4-0 in the Big Ten.

Penn State won the statistical battle as well as the match, hitting .354 to the Badgers .043, with 41 kills, 29 digs and 13.0 team blocks to Wisconsin’s 31 kills, 21 digs and 3.0 total blocks.

Senior OH Megan Hodge and Junior Opp. Blair Brown led Penn State with 12 kills each, while Senior Setter Alisha Glass’s totaled 31 assists and 14 digs for her fifth double-double of the season. Junior MHs Fatima Balza and Arielle Wilson led Penn State’s block, with six total blocks each, followed by Freshman OH Darcy Dorton with five.
