No. 1 Nebraska dominated No. 16 Penn State women’s volleyball 3-0 (25-6, 25-15, 25-13) Friday night at Rec Hall. The 6 points in the first set were the fewest scored by a Penn State team since 2001 — the start of the rally scoring era.
Kennedy Martin once again led the Nittany Lions in kills, with 11. Maggie Mendelson (3 kills) and Emmi Sellman (2 kills) were the only other players to record a kill for Penn State. Karis Willow recorded her first-career ace and teamed with Gabrielle Nichols to register her first-career block.
