Penn State Downs #14 Minnesota 3-0 in Annual Dig Pink Match

On Dig Pink Night, Penn State soundly defeated the Minnesota Golden Gophers 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-14) to the delight of the 4300+ enthusiastic fans in Rec Hall. 

Jess Mruzik led the Nittany Lions with 18 kills, with Camryn Hannah adding 11 kills, and Taylor Trammell chipping in with 8 kills. Izzy Starck dished out 46 assists and directed the team to .305 hitting for the match. Maggie Mendelson led the team with 4 blocks, and Jess Mruzik (16), Gillian Grimes (14), and Ava Falduto (9) were tops in digs.  The Nittany Lions held Minnesota to .112 hitting for the match.
