Jess Mruzik kept up her offensive heater against Michigan State in East Lansing, as she racked up 14 kills and 10 digs in Penn State’s 3-0 win over the Spartans (25-16, 25-22, 25-16.)
Penn State Women’s Volleyball remained unbeaten in the Big Ten with the road win over Michigan State. In addition to Mruzik, Camryn Hannah had 12 kills, and Caroline Jurevicius posted 7 kills in the win. The leading blockers for Penn State were Taylor Trammell (4), Caroline Jurevicius (2), Izzy Starck (1), Maggie Mendelson (1), Camryn Hannah (1). Penn State held the Spartans to .135 hitting, with Gillian Grimes (14 digs), Jess Mruzik (10 digs), Ava Falduto (8 digs) leading the way.
Mruzik had 5 kills in Set 1, 7 kills in Set 2 (on .500 hitting), and 4 kills in Set 3. Led by Ava Falduto’s 5 digs, Penn State held the Spartans to .129 hitting in Set 1.
