On Tuesday night, Paulina Prieto — a 6-2 Sr. OH for Palmer Trinity School in Palmetto Bay, Florida, who has verbally committed to Penn State, played what we assume is her final match for the Palmer Trinity volleyball team, as Westminster Christian eliminated Palmer Trinity from the playoffs for the second consecutive season.  Here’s an excerpt from the write-up in the Miami Herald:

The Westminster Christian volleyball team has witnessed some of the best performances of Palmer Trinity senior Paulina Prieto’s stellar career.

On Tuesday night, the Warriors’ own rising sophomore star, Sylvia Hernandez, helped make sure their regional semifinal match at the Falcons’ gym was the final chapter.

Hernandez, rated one of the top sophomores in the country, served 27 points without an error to help Westminster Christian secure a 16-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-19 victory Tuesday night against the Falcons in a Region 4-3A semifinal at Palmer Trinity.
