Russ Rose Then (2015): “Megan is coming off a season where she didn’t receive recognition from the conference, yet she was the most outstanding player at the final four. She’s been a terrific player for us since she came as a freshman. We haven’t had that many players who have started all four years and she’ll be starting her senior year as a person who can be added to that list. Her leadership will be critical to our success this season.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Megan was a terrific, well-rounded player when she came to Penn State. When she came in, she could have played left side, right side, or set. She was a really important player for us because she could pass, and attack, and she was a very good blocker. Megan was durable and always played hard and well with others. She had all the skills. She was with the US national team and playing professionally as an outside hitter, and then she transitioned and was the starting libero on the national team. She’s married now with a child and still playing pro ball. I was always a big fan of Megan.”
