Meet Penn State Freshman Paulina Prieto Cerame

Paulina Prieto Cerame, who attended Palmer Trinity School in Miami, Florida (where she was a three-year team captain), was ranked #7 on PrepVolleyball.com’s 2011 Senior Aces list. She was a three-time All-Miami Dade County First Team selection, was named twice as the Miami Herald Player of the Year, was selected to the Junior Olympics 16 Open All-Tournament Team, and was a member of the USA Youth National Team, which placed ninth in the World Championships in Ankara, Turkey. Prieto Cerame played for Team VB Rags from Puerto Rico at both the 2010 AAU Girls National Championships in Orlando Florida and the 2010 USA Junior Olympics National Championship at Reno, Nevada. She started playing club volleyball in 2002 for Borinquen Coqui.
