2024 Season (Junior) Highlights and Awards: 2024 National Champion … earned a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten Team.
Season Recap: Appeared all 37 matches (36 as a starter at middle blocker) and in 127 of 135 sets … hit .305 with 242 kills (1.91/set), 146 blocks (1.15), and 4 aces … recorded double-digit kills 7 times and hit better than .400 in 5 of those matches, including a season-high 14 kills on .480 hitting in a four-set win over Michigan State (9/29) … totaled 5 or more blocks in a match 16 times, including a season-high 9 in addition to 6 kills in a 5-set win at Ohio State (10/18) … averaged 1.05 kills/set and 0.90 blocks/set over Penn State’s six NCAA Tournament matches … vs. No. 8 Purdue (11/21) hit .529 with 10 kills and 4 blocks in a sweep … vs. No. 2 Nebraska (11/29) finished with 8 kills and 6 blocks in a 4-set win that clinched a share of the Big Ten title.
NCAA Tournament: In a 4-set win in the NCAA First Round vs. North Carolina (12/7), totaled 6 blocks and 4 kills … in the National Championship match at No. 4 Louisville (12/22), tallied 6 kills and 6 blocks to help Penn State secure its 8th national title with a 4-set win.
Before Penn State: 2023 (Sophomore Season at Nebraska) Earned a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten Team … played in 26 sets over 13 matches … hit .317 with 27 kills (1.04/set), 15 blocks (0.58/set) and 2 digs … at Indiana (9/30) posted 4 kills in a 4-set win … vs. Rutgers (10/28) chipped in with 4 kills and 3 blocks in a sweep … vs. Long Island (12/1) hit .333 with 6 kills and 4 blocks.
2022 (Freshman Season at Nebraska) Played in 42 sets over 14 matches … finished with 47 kills (1.12/set), 33 blocks (0.56/set), 14 digs and 2 aces … vs. Tulsa (8/26) made collegiate debut and finished with 2 kills and 4 blocks … vs. Stanford (9/13) tallied a season-high 6 kills and matched a season high with 4 blocks … at Kentucky (9/18) finished with 4 kills and 3 blocks in a sweep … vs. Michigan State (9/23) matched a season high with 6 kills and added a pair of blocks in a sweep … vs. Delaware State (12/1) contributed 4 kills and 4 blocks in the NCAA First Round sweep.
High School: Was a standout volleyball and basketball player at Fremont High School in Utah … competed with Team USA at the FIVB U18 World Championships, where the Americans finished 3rd … finished with 9 kills, 3 blocks and 2 aces in the bronze-medal match … lettered 3 years at Fremont and passed the 1,000-career kills milestone in just 2 1/2 seasons … totaled 407 kills on .294 hitting with 59 aces and earned third-team AVCA All-America and first-team All-Region 1 honors as a junior … was an outside hitter who helped her team to a 3rd-place finish in the state tournament and a Region 1 championship as a sophomore, finishing with 417 kills on .312 hitting while earning 6A first-team all-state recognition by the Deseret News and Region 1 Most Valuable Player and All-Area MVP by the Standard-Examiner for the second straight year … hit .387 for the Region 1 champion Silverwolves while finishing with 369 kills and 101 blocks as a freshman … was a top-20 finalist for Prep Volleyball’s National Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the publication’s special mention list for high school All-American … played club volleyball for the Utah Hive, winning the Triple Crown SLC Tournament and taking 3rd at the Red Rock Rave … led the Fremont girls basketball team to the 2021 state championship with a perfect 26-0 record as a sophomore, averaging 14.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.9 blocks while starting every game … ranked No. 4 overall and the No. 1 middle blocker recruit for 2022 by PrepVolleyball.com.
