#18 Penn State (9-3, 1-0 Big Ten) swept Rutgers (4-10, 0-1 Big Ten),  (25-17, 25-17, 25-5), on September 21, 2016 at Rutgers.  This was not a surprise.  Nor, despite some gaudy stats, is it something from which we can learn alot about the team.  Rutgers was overmatched.  Still, here are some of the gaudy stats:

• 6-1 Jr. OH Simone Lee had 13 kills (.579 attack %);
• 6-1 Jr. OH Ali Frantti had 11 kills (.458 attack %);
• Penn State hit .468 as a team, with only 5 attack errors in the match;
• The team had 10 service aces.
