Kim Holm

Kim Holm #12 MH/Opp 6’1″

Russ Rose Then (2004): “Kim came from a successful high school and club program and she has been asked to play a number of positions in the first couple of years and may be asked to do that again this year.  Kim is a bright, articulate, young person who has a wide array of interests.  She has an understanding of the game and the demands [on] the player who plays it, and will be called upon to step up in this, her third year in the program.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “She redshirted her first year, 2002 and then she played 47 sets in 19 matches in 2003, and she played 65 sets in 2004. She had Cassy Salyer and Cara Smith playing ahead of her at middle hitter, so she was probably our third middle.  She was a multi-purpose player who I felt I could comfortably put in at right side or middle because she was a good blocker.  She came from Saint Charles East High School in Illinois, which was a good high school, and from Sports Performance, which was a top club program. She played with Sam Tortorello in club. Kim made the best of playing opportunities when they were presented to her and was a solid player for us.”
