Kendall White Named to PrepVolleyball.com’s Class of 2016 Top Juniors
Kendall (pictured at left) recently was named to the “Next 35″ players on PrepVolleyball.com’s “2016 Top 50 Juniors” list (which translates into she’s on their Top 85 List, except they don’t have a Top 85 List). Congrats to Kendall.
Here’s the link (It’s a pay site, but well worth it, in our opinion): “PrepVolleyball.com’s 2016 Top 50 Juniors.“
According to the Munciana Volleyball and Rich Kern websites, Kendall White, ay 5-7 L/DS on the Cathedral High School (Indianapolis, IN) Fighting Irish volleyball team, has verbally committed to play for Penn State in 2016. PrepVolleyball.com ranks the Fighting Irish #1 in the country in its 2014 Century Club National High School Team Rankings, and in 2013 named Kendall to its Frosh 59 list of the best freshmen volleyball players in the country.
According to Cathedral High School’s website, after leading the 2012 Cathedral team with 372 digs, ranking second on the team with 46 assists, and first with 54 service aces, Kendall earned a spot on the 2013 Class 4A all-state Second Team and was named to the all-city First Team. Her coach, Jean Kesterson, has described her as having an “intense competitive spirit [that] is well beyond her years,” and as “the best freshman libero I have ever seen in Indiana in more than 25 years of coaching high school volleyball. . . . She just has it.”
