Russ Rose Then (2019): “Gabby competes hard and has a good handle on the skillset required to be a successful setter. I expect her to have a really good sophomore season. She played a little bit last year as a setter but played a lot more as a serving sub and back row player. She had a lot of opportunities where she had to come in and contribute for us. Her role will be totally different this year where she will need to lead the team, but she possesses a lot of experience competing in high school and club in that area, and I know the players enjoy playing with her.”
