Emily Sciorra, a 5′ 5 1/2″ L/DS from Chantilly High School (Chantilly, VA) and the Metro American Volleyball Club has verbally committed to Penn State for the 2016 season.  While with the Virginia Elite 16s Volleyball Club, Emily trained with Virginia Elite’s two libero coaches, former Penn Stater Alyssa D’Errico and Melissa Caldwell (Virginia), and was named to the All-Region second team and the all-Concorde Conference first team and earned MVP honors in the Concorde Conference tournament.

From the Virginia Elite website: “Emily is an absolute standout not only on her team, but in her age group for the East Coast,” Virginia Elite 16’s Coach Christa Carnduff said “She leads her team on and off the court with an infectious personality and aggressive passion toward the game.”
