Russ Rose Then (2013): “Dom is a terrific and confident passer and has now been our starting libero for the last couple of years. She’s developed into a great leader who really cares about the team and she knows what the needs of her team are and how to fufill those needs. She also does everything she can to improve her game – nobody is in the gym more than her.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Dom was one of my favorite people in the program as she always wanting to know how she could help the team and what she could do to be better. She was an incredible passer, and was tough defensively. She made great contributions to the program while she was here, and after she graduated, she went into college coaching for a few years. She has since retired from college coaching and is active in her former club back in Texas and is raising her son. Dom was a really valuable leader of the team. She was one of those examples that captains might be elected, but leaders emerge. I was always really proud of how Dom cared about the team and was always working on her craft.”
