Russ Rose Then (2011): “Dom is a player we’ve worked with at camp for two or three years. She presents a good serve, great ball-handling skills, and we feel she’ll be able to help us in those roles. I think she can serve and pass at the college level now. We’ll see where she’s best defensively and put her in that environment. I think Dom is a player that has the ability to play any of the back row positions. She’s a player that has a great nose for the ball, plays the game hard, and will make great contributions in the back row.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Dom was one of my favorite people in the program as she always wanting to know how she could help the team and what she could do to be better. She was an incredible passer, and was tough defensively. She made great contributions to the program while she was here, and after she graduated, she went into college coaching for a few years. She has since retired from college coaching and is active in her former club back in Texas and is raising her son. Dom was a really valuable leader of the team. She was one of those examples that captains might be elected, but leaders emerge. I was always really proud of how Dom cared about the team and was always working on her craft.”
