Caitlyn Hess

Russ Rose Then (2007): “Caitlyn has good natural quickness and is a young player who we[apos]re going to train and take a look at to see if she can make some contributions from the backrow position.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Caitlin was a good back row player from Pittsburgh who was only with us her freshman year.  There was not a lot of playing time for her, but she came to practice every day and gave us a great effort. All of those types of people are still instrumental to a team’s development. Even if they don’t play, they’re valuable. Sometimes kids can be a pain in the butt, if they don’t get to play, but Caitlin was really a positive player all the time.”
