Before Penn State: Won 3 letters at Rancho Cucamonga High School, where she played under head coach Aaron Flores … totaled 1,166 digs (12.3/match, 4.3/set) and 146 aces … earned all-Baseline League honors 3 times and 2nd-team all-area distinction from the Upland Daily Bulletin in 2016 … voted team Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year on 3 occasions and was named a PrepVolleyball Breakthrough Player in 2015 … led RCHS to 3 straight Baseline League championships, as the Cougars compiled a 29-1 conference record from 2015-17 to go with 3 appearances in the CIF Southern Section playoffs, including a semifinal berth during her sophomore campaign … also won 2 letters as a shot putter for the RCHS track and field team … excelled in the classroom, landing a spot on the principal’s honor roll all 4 years … served as sports commissioner for the RCHS Associated Student Body.
