Ann Naylor

Ann Naylor #17 S/DS 5’10”

Russ Rose Then (2006):  “Ann did a very nice job in the spring setting for us and she has continued that throughout the summer.  She is going to make contributions as a backup setter and back row player.  She wins our long distance runs as well as the sprints and is a very competitive individual.  She has good experience and has played a great deal of volleyball.  There are certain responsibilities that change when you go from being an underclassman to being an upperclassman, and I hope to see that on the court, but I know she’ll always have a big smile.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Ann Naylor was another person who was happy to be at Penn State.  Her dad and a lot of her siblings went to Penn State and she married a former Penn State football player (Rich Ohrnberger).   She had a good serve and wasn’t afraid to defend and play hard. She was here at Penn State for the right reasons, she cared about the program, and she worked hard every day.  She played in half of our matches during our 2007 National Championship Season.”
