Russ Rose Now (2025): “Ann Naylor was another person who was happy to be at Penn State. Her dad and a lot of her siblings went to Penn State and she married a former Penn State football player (Rich Ohrnberger). She had a good serve and wasn’t afraid to defend and play hard. She was here at Penn State for the right reasons, she cared about the program, and she worked hard every day. She played in half of our matches during our 2007 National Championship Season.”
2004 Season (Freshman): Played in 6 matches and 7 sets … had 5 digs for the season, including a career-high three versus Maryland-Baltimore County (9/17) … posted 1 dig against Yale (9/18) … also recorded a dig versus Northwestern (11/13).
Before Penn State: Two-time letterwinner at Harvard-Westlake High School in North Hollywood, Calif. … was team captain for the Wolverines during her senior season, compiling a 17-9 record … during junior season, squad was Mission League Champions and CIF runners-up, reaching the state quarterfinals … also lettered in basketball at Harvard-Westlake.
