2000 Season (Freshman): Becky Talcott redshirted in the 2000 season and did not play for Penn State in subsequent seasons.

Before Penn State: Was an honorable mention alll-conference selection during her senior season at Rocky River High School; also letter in basketball; was named scholar athlete of the Southwestern Conference in 1999; attended Magnificant High School from 1996-1969; tried out for the U.S. Junior National Team in April 1999 as a libero; member of the Akron-Canton Elite Volleyball Club; paced Akron-Canton to a 19th place showing in the 18-open at the 1999 USAV Nationals; was a member of the Winterhurst Figure Skating Club from 1986-1999.
