The American Volleyball Coaches Association has released its preseason poll. And, for what it’s worth (which isn’t a lot, given the number of players who graduated from last year’s top-ranked teams, and that no one has yet played a single regular season match) Penn State is ranked #1. Here’s the link to the AVCA’s poll: AVCA 2015 Preseason Poll. Rounding out the top 5 were #2 Stanford, #3 Texas, #4 Florida, and a tie for #5 between Nebraska and Wisconsin. Illinois came in at #8, Ohio State at #14, and Michigan State at #19.
