The top-ranked Penn State women’s volleyball team clinched its sixth consecutive outright Big Ten title with a three-game sweep of Northwestern (25-15, 25-18, 25-11) Friday at Rec Hall in front of 5,799 fans, a title streak that is unprecedented in the Big Ten in women’s volleyball. The Nittany Lions improve to 29-0 and 17-0 in the league while the Wildcats fall to 8-20 and 2-15 in the conference.
